Nature and Scope
The Computer System Validation (CSV) Intern will assist the CSV department with day-to-day software application technical support, system administration, system maintenance, and project-based tasks. This internship will provide exposure to various CSV areas, including troubleshooting, software application setup, and system administration.

Ability to complete a 13-week program (from May 18, 2026 to August 14, 2026) and commit to 40 hours per week onsite in Shirley, NY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the system administration of GxP computerized systems (i.e., user account management, system audit trail reviews and user account reviews)

  • Assist the system administrator with troubleshooting; provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting software issues.

  • Help with CSV projects and tasks as needed, providing hands-on learning.

  • Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas and learn about data integrity, CSV procedures, policies and regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11.

  • Assist with maintaining Computerized Systems Inventory. Reconcile relevant documentation against each computerized system (i.e., risk assessment, inventory log forms)

  • Adhere to all data integrity policies in performing day-to-day activities.

  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Education Requirements and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or STEM related field required.

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware.

  • Familiarity with office productivity software.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Experience with software application troubleshooting, or system administration preferred (through coursework or personal projects).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, cloud services, and remote desktop tools preferred.

Expected Hourly Rate:

$20.00 - $23.00
