Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our growing Site Development practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead impactful site development projects while expanding their project management, client relationship, and team leadership responsibilities.

In this role, you'll collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines while supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial, municipal, energy, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

    Lead the design and delivery of site development projects, including site layout, grading, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management
  • Manage civil engineering projects from concept through permitting and construction, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and project deliverables
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, permitting documents, and supporting project documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local, state, and regulatory agencies throughout all phases of project delivery
  • Support project scoping, proposal development, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating efforts
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers while supporting their professional development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including environmental, geotechnical, survey, water resources, and other technical professionals
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients while helping strengthen long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for future work
  • Contribute to the growth and continued success of CEC's Civil/Site Engineering practice throughout West Virginia and the surrounding region

Qualifications

  • Civil Land Development Engineering experience
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related field) required (ABET accredited)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in West Virginia or ability to gain reciprocity
  • Experience managing and leading project teams
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with active and future clients
  • Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferred
