Description

Pay Range: $78,850 to $98,575 per year.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Responsible for Recruitment of exempt and non-exempt Team Members to ensure best candidates possible, are selected.
  • Responsible for compliance of employment administration.
  • Partner with the business to drive talent management, succession planning, career pathways, and coaching initiatives for the organization, to support Team Member development.
  • Assist in driving excellence into the HR organization by creating guidelines, processes and delivering training to the HR TEAM.
  • Assist with employment branding initiatives to highlight Team Member experiences on social media to attract top talent.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex Team Member issues. Conduct effective and objective investigations.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors/management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary action).
  • Consult with supervisors/management, provide HR guidance when appropriate. Work closely with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.


ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Provide great customer service to Team Members who visit the HR Office.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
  • Additional projects, as assigned.
  • Actively drive and support our safety culture.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of performance management, talent management, safety practices, talent acquisition, Team Member relations, and compensation strategy, with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
  • Change agent with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Active listener with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results.
  • Must demonstrate sound HR decision making.
  • Must be able to coach Team Members and leaders, up to Director level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS.
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license or be able to acquire one, and reliable transportation.
  • Must have consistent and reliable attendance.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:



  • 4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish.
  • Bilingual preferred English/Spanish
