Work with team to establish purchasing guidelines based on the strategies and goals of the Indirect Procurement group. Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services and prepare cost-benefit analysis reports. Assist with the selection of the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.

What you'll do as a Procurement Goods and Services Analyst:

  • Work closely with internal business partners and external suppliers to ensure business goals and needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Indirect Procurement Leadership to ensure best-in-class sourcing organization.
  • Build internal business partners and external suppliers to ensure business goals and needs are met appropriately.
  • Create and implement KPIs that lead to success and data driven decisions for various indirect procurement initiatives.
  • Compile data for RFPs Requests for Proposals) including internal surveys, data analysis, and reports.
  • Work with internal key stakeholders and initiative owners to achieve sourcing goals and strategies.
  • Solicit formal and informal bids for goods and services, considering price, terms, delivery, compatibility, and the supplier's ability to meet their responsibilities.
  • Work with internal key stakeholders and initiative owners on sourcing efforts.
  • Provide financial analyses for daily operations as well as current and future projects.
  • Create and maintain various reports to track department progress and look for improvements.
  • Use data and spending analytics to assist with decision making, presentations, and reporting for management.
  • Effectively understand and interpret supplier pricing/service implications and their associated impacts.
  • Work closely with vendor/suppliers to ensure all purchases are received timely, products and services meet expectations, and variances are accurately resolved.
  • Work effectively with teammates and customers to coordinate communication plans and standardize best practices across multiple locations and business units.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Procurement Goods and Services Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with two or more years of buying experience.
  • Strong financial analysis and research skills required.
  • Highly motivated, analytical, and thrives in a team environment.
  • Capable of strong communication and relationship building
  • Strong MSOffice experience, particularly in Excel.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Flexible and agile team player.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
