Job Description




As a Security Officer - Driver Roving Patrol in Marysville, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help support a residential community by conducting routine vehicle patrols, staying highly visible, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, where you will document observations, communicate clearly with residents and property staff, and help maintain a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and customer-focused service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by assisting with access control as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor and report alarms, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance hazards, and communicate observations promptly to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, and support move-ins, move-outs, deliveries, and/or special property events per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
