The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks. Job Skills / Requirements We are looking for a Security Officer in Waterloo, Iowa! Starting Pay: $15.50 an hour. (Can go up with good performance) Hours: 22.50/WeekMonday-Wednesday 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM Saturday 11:30 PM - 7:00 AMSunday 2:45 PM - 11:30 PM *Overtime may be required for shift coverage* Job Requirements: Must be able to pass Iowa Department of Public Safety/FBI Background check from age of 18 to current. Must be able to pass company motor vehicle records check. Must be able to pass pre-employment 5-panel drug screen. Must be able to interact with general public and staff in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Must be able to remain calm in non-emergency and emergency situations. Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time. Must be tech savvy enough to understand general procedures after training. Must have exceptional attendance and punctuality. Must be available for overtime for other officer call offs. Monitor alarms and make phone calls if one goes off according to phone tree. Monitor cameras and gates to make sure facility is secure. Fill out detailed reports. Candidates will be required to interview in person with Per Mar in Cedar Rapids, IA before being accepted. No exceptions.
