Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Level Training Program Manager shall:



  • The Senior Level Training Program Manager shall assist the Government in the execution of all training coordination functions required for the successful student completion of their full training pipeline.
  • Coordinate with external military human resource command and representatives, internal service elements, and Office of Human Resources (OHR) to validate requisitions and develop requisite JMAS student training schedules.
  • The Senior Level Training Program Manager shall develop student class rosters for each JMAS iteration. Secure qualifications and perform duties as Unit Security Officer.
  • Verify student security clearance information and spouse interim access designations through current database of record. Perform duties as Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) and Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) in Defense Travel System (DTS) for student travel.
  • Comply with applicable laws and directives to ensure successful completion of JMAS pipeline training program by all students.
  • The Senior Level Training Program Manager shall maintain knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software programs for various work-related needs.
  • As needed with approval from the CMDT/VCMDT provide off-site faculty support for approximately ten (10) days three (3) times per year in support of a JMAS exercise in Florida or, under extraordinary circumstances, an alternate venue as deemed necessary by the Commandant.
  • The Senior Level Training Program Manager shall actively support ongoing JMAS accreditation activities through participation on assigned accreditation committees and/or working groups and attendance at JMAS curriculum reviews; understand and support accreditation efforts by Council on Occupational Education (COE), International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), and potentially others deemed critical by the JMAS Board of Governors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):



  • Knowledge of military training program management and student pipeline coordination, including scheduling, roster development, and administrative oversight to ensure successful completion of training programs.
  • Knowledge of DoD administrative processes and personnel coordination, including working with military human resource commands, internal service elements, and human resources offices to validate training requisitions and manage student assignments.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage complex training schedules, ensuring alignment of course availability, instructor resources, and student requirements within structured training pipelines.
  • Knowledge of security administration procedures, including verification of security clearances, handling sensitive information, and performing duties associated with a Unit Security Officer.
  • Skill in utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS) and performing duties as an Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) and Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) to coordinate and manage official travel for students.
  • Ability to maintain accurate training records and documentation, including class rosters, clearance verification, travel records, and other program administrative requirements.
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes and academic program compliance, including support for accreditation bodies such as the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business software, with the ability to prepare reports, track training metrics, maintain databases, and support program management functions.


Minimum/General Experience:



  • The Senior Level Training Program Manager shall have a minimum ten (10) years' experience in business administration, personnel management or intelligence, or
  • Five (5) years' experience with Bachelor's degree,
  • Experience desired in a Military Training Environment.


Minimum Education:



  • HS Diploma, or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline is preferred.
