Amplify seeks a versatile individual to join our organization as a Business Systems Analyst to support the optimization of core business processes across the organization. This role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support the full operational lifecycle of the business. This role partners with Product Owners and operational leaders to drive efficiencies across the enterprise application landscape (ERP, CRM, HRIS, and integration layer), ensuring that technical solutions support seamless data flow from lead-to-cash and record-to-report. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to ensure that solutions align with company goals by translating business requirements into functional definitions, clarifying requests for development and QA, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in an agile development life cycle.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Owners and operational stakeholders (Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain, Sales) to define and prioritize system enhancements across ERP and CRM platforms, ensuring enterprise processes such as quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and revenue recognition are scalable and aligned with long-term architecture.

  • Facilitate communication across departments to identify potential changes to upstream or downstream processes that impact financial transactions, demand planning, fulfillment, and reporting.

  • Gather and document requirements for sophisticated system improvements and document requirements as user stories with defined acceptance criteria

  • Review processes and procedures and provide recommendations to the operational teams and management regarding ways to optimize efficiencies

  • Build business and technical workflows that support and outline the processes the business follows to perform its functions

  • Independently extract and analyze data, identifying trends to validate business assumptions and propose process optimizations. Map complex system integrations and data flows across SaaS applications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of enterprise data.

  • Perform/facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and create comprehensive test plans that align test cases with business requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Prioritize information for Change Control meetings and obtain required approvals for the release and deployment of system changes.

  • Document system improvements for the end-user and deliver training sessions if needed

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the configuration of the ERP and CRM systems

  • Evaluate and research standard practices for department and cross-department strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or business-related practice

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within an IT or Business Systems function

  • Experience supporting enterprise ERP and CRM ecosystems in high-volume transactional environments. Demonstrated ability to document end-to-end business processes that span multiple departments (e.g., Sales to Finance handoffs)

  • Experience with data management concepts and workflows.

  • Experience documenting system integration requirements and mapping data flows between SaaS applications

  • Solid research, analysis, and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating complex business needs into technical specifications.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience creating and delivering high-quality presentations on relevant topics to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP or comparable certifications

  • Experience working with Agile Methodologies and best practices

  • Background in the K-12 education industry

  • Master's degree in computer science or MBA

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
