The Rutgers Center for Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (
HOPE) in partnership with Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine through the
SEPR team offers a fellowship focused on real world evidence, health economics, patient outcomes, market access and policy research. The program provides interdisciplinary training through hands on industry research, academic coursework, and professional mentorship to prepare fellows for evidence based decision making across the pharmaceutical industry setting.
Fellowship Experience Includes:
- Designing and supporting real world studies focused on patient outcomes, burden of illness, clinical and health economics, and policy relevant evidence
- Conducting literature reviews, database analyses, and health economic and comparative effectiveness research
- Collaborating with cross functional industry teams to gain a better understanding of how real world evidence can be used in the decision-making process associated with the development and commercialization of new pharmaceutical products
Requires a PhD.
