STV's Frisco, TX office is seeking an immediate hire for a Survey CAD Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs drafting in Civil 3D, Carlson and/or MicroStation a plus.

  • Processing of survey crew field data using Trimble Business Center.

  • Creating DTM's understanding and drafting of Topographic Surveys, interpolating contours and processing data.

  • Perform office survey activities in accordance with Minimum Standards of Practice for Surveying.

  • Perform deed and easement records research.

  • Performs office computations necessary for the completion of task assignments for field crew.

  • Prepares finished deliverables including:ALTA's, Land Title Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Easement and Right of Way Exhibit Documents.

  • Communicates with the field crew and creates Field packs for collecting survey data.

  • Write legal metes and bounds descriptions under the direct supervision of the RPLS.

  • Boundary Analysis under the direct supervision of an RPLS.

  • Able to review and interpolate Schedule B items from a Title Commitment under the direct supervision of an RPLS.

  • Calculate construction staking points for field crew, balancing field crew bench loops.

PositionRequirements:

  • Proficiency inCivil 3D,

  • Knowledge of MicroStation and Carlson a plus.

  • Microsoft Office Suite(Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

  • A minimum of 3 years of CAD experience preferred.

  • Experience with TxDOT surveying or drafting is a plus.

  • Field experience preferred.

  • Be able to go to the field and visit job sites as needed.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation and the ability to pass background check for employment.

  • Good communication and leadership skills.

  • Prepare safety topics for field personnel and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's)

  • Good organizational and communication skills

Compensation Range:

$47,959.00 - $54,498.00
