Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Unarmed

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Unarmed in Demopolis, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol production and warehouse areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control points as needed. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Control access through designated entry points by checking identification, logging visitors and contractors, and directing foot and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and log entries, document unusual activity, and communicate relevant information during shift change and/or to a supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
