As a Security Officer - SCIF Monitor - Clearance Required in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and entry and exit protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
• Perform access control duties including checking identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, and complete shift reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
