The VP of Strategy and Chief of Staff for Individual and Family Plans (IFP) will be a direct report to the CEO and serve as a critical member of the IFP leadership team. This leader will be a trusted voice and advisor to help the CEO determine, articulate, and execute the team's vision, mission, strategies, and OKRs within the chief of staff, growth and strategy elements of the role. The VP will also play a significant role in business growth and market expansion as well as other strategic initiatives as assigned. This leader will have a small direct team while influencing the broader leadership team. In conjunction with the CEO and senior leadership team, the VP of Strategic Initiatives owns the 5-year strategy, growth agenda, day to day business agenda and cadence and will have accountability for execution of the growth agenda. In this role, the selected leader will be accountable for taking the lead in developing executive presentations, business plans and managing projects to execution that will require collaborative work across the IFP leadership team, broader UnitedHealthcare, Optum and UnitedHealth Group. He/she will act as a liaison for matters of importance, assuming responsibility for filtering and prioritizing projects, responding to requests, and leading and executing strategic initiatives, as directed by the CEO. In all capacities, this role works collaboratively with other Chiefs of Staff across the enterprise. This role requires forward strategic thinking, with the ability to anticipate needs and shifts in our growth agenda and strategy. The salary for this role will range from $159,300 to $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
