Security Officer - Unarmed Evening Rounds

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Evening Rounds in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and management while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, loading or service zones, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and building activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoff information, using required systems and/or forms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Lifting up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
