As a Security Guard Armed Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Humble, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. Bring clear communication, strong customer service, and teamwork as you act with integrity in a caring, agile culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or authorizations in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
  • Document and report security-related activities, incidents, and observations through written logs and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security experience.
  • Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
  • Have 6 months+ armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Provide proof of HS diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
