As a Security Officer - Site Monitor in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing foot traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and ATM or night deposit areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete required reports and documentation, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
