Airport Security - CCTV Officer Part Time

As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon/Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, check credentials when required, and document unusual activity per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to supervisors and/or on-site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
