Inspector - Machined Parts & Weldments Shift: 1st Shift \| 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay: $21-$23 per hour (based on experience) Location: Cudahy, WI Position Purpose The Inspector is responsible for performing final inspections on machined parts and weldments to ensure they meet company quality standards and specified tolerances. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, sound judgment, and extensive machine shop experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inspect machined parts and weldments for conformance to blueprints and company standards Accept or reject parts based on tolerance requirements and company policy Perform final inspections on various sizes and shapes of machined components and equipment Determine allowable tolerances and make informed quality decisions Troubleshoot and resolve inspection issues encountered during the inspection and testing process Maintain working knowledge of product assembly and overall product function Use precision measuring tools (employee must supply own tools) Operate overhead crane and fork truck to move parts as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area (housekeeping) Follow proper call-in procedures and attendance requirements Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Extensive machine shop experience required Thorough knowledge of mechanical principles and inspection practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Must provide own inspection tools Overhead crane and fork truck experience required High level of motivation and positive attitude Reliable attendance to meet business needs Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions
