Residential Treatment Worker (Per Diem)

Community Care Alliance is seeking Residential Treatment Workers to support the work of our Substance Use Residential Programs. We operate multiple treatment houses where clients can focus on recovery from chemical dependency in a home-like atmosphere. This program provides case management, basic living and relapse prevention skills, individual counseling, and daily psycho-educational groups. Residential Treatment Workers provide ongoing support services and/or crisis intervention as needed. Mental health and/or substance abuse experience is preferred.

The per diem position plays a critical role in providing shift coverage. You will be expected to travel between our sites in Pawtucket, Johnston, and Providence depending on staffing need.

Duties may include:



  • Assisting clients in medication monitoring and education.
  • Assisting in facilitating activities with clients, which enhance the quality of living within the residence. Some of these activities may include: maintenance and/or cleaning of the residence, cooking meals, and daily ADL skills.
  • Candidates must have an active driver's license and approved driving record with the ability to transport clients.

Education / Licensing Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required with experience in areas of mental health/substance abuse. This Position requires you to obtain CPR and First Aid certification. If you do not have this certification you can obtain it while employed at the agency.
