Position Summary Saint Martins University invites applications for the position of Vice President of Business and Chief Financial Officer (VPB/CFO). Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the Executive Cabinet, the VPB/CFO provides leadership for the Universitys financial and administrative operations while advancing the institutions strategic priorities. The VPB/CFO is responsible for the Universitys ongoing business, budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis functions and provides direct leadership and supervision of Student Financial Services, Business Office, Payroll, Facilities, Investments, Purchasing, Bookstore, and Integrated Technology. The role includes oversight of contractual agreements, leadership of the annual budgeting and audit processes, and service as staff liaison to the Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees of the Board of Trustees. As a hands-on leader and strategic partner, the VPB/CFO collaborates closely with the President, Provost, and campus leadership to ensure financial sustainability, operational excellence, and mission alignment. This position plays a key role in developing innovative funding mechanisms to support faculty and staff development, competitive compensation, new academic and co-curricular programs, and the expansion of non-traditional revenue sourceswhile ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of services.
