This position is expected to start around May or June 2026 and continue through theSummerterm (endingapproximately August 2026) or continuing into Fall 2026 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work40 hoursper week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-timeduring the academic year.

The North American Inventory Fleet Operations team is responsible for optimizing our operating fleet and inventory vehicle sales process. The team goal is to effectively implement our allocation and utilization strategies to provide an incredible customer experience while minimizing operating costs.

As a core contributor to the team, you will collaborate closely with Fleet, Sales Operations, and Business Analytics stakeholders. Your responsibilities will center around analyzing, visualizing, and reporting on Fleet & Sales performance data to support key operational decisions. You'll play a critical role in developing and enhancing reports and dashboards that drive insights into fleet & sales efficiency and process improvements. As a subject matter expert in fleet & sales operations reporting, you will deliver actionable recommendations, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to North America's sales goals.


What You'll Do
  • Develop and deliver timely, accurate, and actionable analysis to support Tesla's Fleet and Sales Operations, leveraging defined KPIs and operational metrics
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, performance patterns, and operational insights that inform strategic decisions across the fleet lifecycle and sales funnel
  • Build intuitive dashboards, visualizations, and reports to effectively communicate key findings and metrics to stakeholders at all levels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities to enhance data quality, accuracy, and completeness, driving more reliable and actionable insights
  • Provide on-demand analytics support using SQL, advanced Excel, and other tools to uncover trends, optimize fleet utilization, and improve overall fleet & sales operations performance

What You'll Bring
  • Study in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Applied Analytics or equivalent
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Microsoft BI and Advanced MS Excel modeling
  • Able to work in extremely fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to learn and adapt to shifting business needs

    Expected Compensation
    $19.41 - $31.97/hour + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
