Job Summary This position is responsible for assisting the Portfolio Management and Underwriting Team in their management of all aspects of a portfolio of dealer lending clients, including underwriting credit facilities, loan documentation, ongoing credit analysis and collateral management. It is expected that the Portfolio Analyst gain an understanding of all aspects of each client's business and assist the Portfolio Managers in the proactive identification and resolution of potential issues in their assigned portfolio.
Essential Functions
- Assist Portfolio Managers in the management of a portfolio of existing accounts which may include activities such as: preparation of asset quality reviews and quarterly reviews; evaluation of requests for waivers and amendments; ordering of third party appraisal reports and flood search reports; completing "Know Your Customer" (KYC) due diligence reviews; completing collateral audit inspection reports and cascade performance issues; and performing work associated with operational aspects related to loan servicing
- Complete Annual Reviews of existing dealer client relationships in partnership with the Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers
- Work with Enterprise Banking Portfolio Managers in the creation and distribution of industry relevant reports used by the relationship management team in their sales efforts
- Partner with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to identify client opportunities and recommend financial solutions for Dealer client relationships
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
- Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- OR equivalent experience (required)
Work Experience
- 1+ years (preferably 2+ years) of working experience within a business/commercial lending environment (required)
- 1+ years of commercial portfolio or relationship management experience (preferred)

Physical Demands
- General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
Travel
- Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
Work Location Category
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
