THE ROLE: In this leadership role within the Software Engineering team, the Senior Manager will leverage their strong understanding of the general software development life cycle and silicon engineering process, from concept to production, to lead an experienced team of software program managers. The team is responsible for the planning and execution of all the software activities and deliverables into a cross-disciplined Core Team. They deliver the next generation of Ryzen products while working with AMD Leadership and in close collaboration with key customers and software ecosystem partners. THE PERSON: The Senior Manager is a strategic leader with exceptional people management skills and a proven track record of building high performance teams. The ideal candidate will encourage their team to find effective solutions to complex problems and drive continuous improvements. The Sr. Manager will also demonstrate strong program management and organizational skills. They should have a technical understanding of the software development lifecycle and silicon development, be a technical leader and innovator, and be able to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering core teams.
