As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with team members and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, document observations, and respond to situations with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, vendors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, receiving areas, offices, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, assist with access control as directed, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for customers, deliveries, and contractors.
• Observe customer and employee activity for potential security-related concerns and promptly report suspicious behavior to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, lost and found issues, and property damage, following post orders.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
• Assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and key control practices per site instructions.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, providing customer assistance, and reporting observed policy violations through approved channels.
• Use radio, phone, and/or other communication tools to coordinate with management and local responders when directed.
• Operate and/or observe alarm systems and camera systems when available, and report equipment issues or unusual observations per site procedures.
• Help maintain a professional appearance of the location by reporting lighting outages, damaged fencing, blocked exits, spills, and other conditions that could contribute to incidents.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client guidelines regarding confidentiality, professionalism, and workplace conduct while working in a retail food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
