What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store associates at a retail front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and manage sign-in and sign-out logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access control points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing foot traffic, maintaining presence at the front desk, and following escalation procedures when needed.
• Answer phones, route calls, and provide general directions and information while maintaining a professional front desk presence.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report irregular activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and requesting assistance when appropriate.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activity in reports and logs with clear, timely, and accurate details.
• Coordinate with store management and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, special events, and operational needs at the location.
• Assist with package, delivery, and vendor check-in procedures per site policy, including verifying appointments and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Follow confidentiality expectations related to store operations, client information, and incident reporting while maintaining professional conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
