Patient Care Advocate

Full-time, Days

Job Requirements:

  • The Patient Care Advocate assists patients in navigating their interactions with Baptist Health and maintains patient rights by educating patients and families.
  • Works with physicians and the health care team to improve patient care and promote positive patient, family, physician and caregiver communications.
  • The Patient Experience Advocate assumes accountability for the response to and resolution of patient/family complaints and concerns and provides data, from outside Survey Company, to hospital leadership to support recommendation for process change and accreditation standards.
  • This position will also support program management for Patient Advisory Council.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Two years experience in healthcare or hospitality
