Senior Tax Analyst - Southern States Cooperative - Richmond, VA

• Prepare monthly sales and use tax filings for multiple locations across various states

• Complete property tax returns using fixed asset software

• Process tax payments and assist with journal entries and account reconciliations

• Support year-end patronage refunds and income tax provision calculations

• Respond to operational requests, including sales tax exemption certificates

• Assist with audits, technical research, and ad hoc tax projects

• Use and support data analysis and reporting tools, including Microsoft Power BI

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 1-2 years of tax or accounting experience (preferred)

• CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

• Experience with Power BI is a plus

• Hybrid work environment

• Exposure to multi-state tax compliance and cooperative structures
