Process Development Engineer: Turning Innovation Into Impact

This Process Development Engineer opportunity is designed for a driven professional who enjoys taking complex ideas from concept to production and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. Working onsite five days per week, you will play a key role in developing, improving, and commercializing advanced medical technologies within a global manufacturing network.

This role offers the chance to influence multiple product development initiatives while partnering cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable processes.



Hours and Pay



  • Pay Rate: $56.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
  • Work Model: Fully onsite, five days per week

What You Will Do



  • Assess process capabilities and identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Design, develop, and innovate manufacturing processes, tooling, automation, and procedures
  • Lead functional deliverables tied to product and technology development, project management, and quality systems
  • Author and contribute to technical reports, validations, and qualifications by capturing and analyzing experimental results
  • Drive visibility, resolution, and closure of process issues related to yield, cost, and capability
  • Evaluate external and emerging technologies and identify opportunities for internal implementation
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for new technology adoption, including business cases, risk assessments, and implementation plans
  • Contribute to manufacturing technology strategy and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) efforts
  • Write, review, and execute validation protocols and reports for new processes
  • Present technical data, findings, and recommendations during technical and business reviews
  • Partner cross-functionally to define design specifications, test methods, and material selections
  • Contribute ideas to intellectual property submissions
  • Train technicians and provide guidance to manufacturing personnel during prototype builds and validations




What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional engineering experience in process development, product development, or manufacturing
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel capabilities


Preferred Qualifications



  • Degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing, Design for Manufacturability, and Six Sigma principles
  • Background in medical devices or another highly regulated industry
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and technical leadership skills
