Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

VCA is looking for talented Associate Analysts to join our next Cohort.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful client projects, receive tailored training and development in payments consulting, and collaborate with leaders who possess deep expertise in solving client problems.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Attend specific courses curated for team members to be successful in the role
  • Support a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients
  • Complete desk research and basic quantitative data to identify preliminary trends and themes in the data with some guidance
  • Help craft a script based on understanding of analysis done
  • Support the development of client-specific presentations which address unique client scenarios and needs
  • Support consulting engagements with other team members, including participating in interviews, analyzing confidential client data, and summarizing key findings
  • Engage in developing the next cohort programming by identifying and providing feedback on gaps in skills, knowledge, or resources to ensure continuous program improvement

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

2 or more years of work experience

Successful internship or 6 months or more experience in a Consulting environment

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user

Growth mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, and failing-fast

A great team member who adds energy, ideas and fun to our team and corporate culture

Good communication and presentation skills

Analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize data into insights.

Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts both internal to Visa and with the client.

Proven time management skills and ability to adapt

A background in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending is a plus

An affinity for payments technology and its future

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 66,600.00 to 103,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
