The Maintenance Engineering Supervisor oversees electrical maintenance and testing programs, participates in candidate interviews, developing processes, schedules, and training for the maintenance and testing teams. They guide the team in defining requirements, performing activities, evaluating results, and implementing corrective actions. This role will support CLP's utility privatization contracts nationwide as well as CLPE's clients across the country.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance and testing engineers, trainees, assistants, and technicians in the completion of electrical testing dutiesensuringtesting ofsimilar itemsis consistent acrossthe team.
• Establish working practices and training programs, hiring personnel, test schedule/plans, and field activity plans for CLP's utility privatization(UP)operations and clients across the country.
• Provide input and oversee the safety program for the Maintenance and Testing team.
• Possess and maintain up-to-date knowledge of principles, practices, procedures, and standards related to utility power distribution systems maintenance/testing, and ensure the team is trained and competent in these subjects.
• Provide status updates to the UP Installations, Director of Engineering, and other company personnel.
• Develop/update electrical substations and distribution system maintenance/testing standards and guidelines.
• Analyze electrical apparatus test reports, field inspection data, and other performance data to identify performance status and life-cycle assessment of key electrical assets. Propose maintenance or replacement plans based on the technical analysis of the data.
• Utilize GIS database to track and analyze field maintenance, testing, and inspections of activities for large-scale electrical distribution systems.
• Travel to CLP's UP sitesandother customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-upand collect data onsubstation andelectrical systems.
• Manage and execute commissioning tests and startup services for CLPE projects.
• Develop and manage testing plans and procedures for all low, medium, and high-voltageelectrical systems and apparatusin accordance withNETA, NFPA 70B, and manufacturers' recommendationsand regulatory law.

Qualifications & Skills:

• PE license preferred
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE)from accredited university required.
• Eight (8) yrs minimum experiencerequired (2 yrs exp at a lead or supervisor level required)
• Excellent theoretical understanding of electrical power systems.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
• Must have good management and customer coordination skills.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• Direct supervision of the Maintenance and Testingteams.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the team.
• Provides constructive and timely job performance feedback.
• Alongside the Director of Engineering, handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Travel:

• 40-50% travel required to CLP and customer job sites.

Other Requirements:

• You must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to gain a Military Base Access Security Clearance after hire is required for this position.
• A validdriver's licensewith a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policyis required.

• Salary range: $130,000-$165,000/year based on experience plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
