(Mid Shift) Location Nellis AFB, NV Job Posting No 111993 113830 Start Date 1 Mar 2026 Contract Nellis Aircraft Maintenance Salary Range DOE Posting Date 01/21/2026 Union No FLSA Status Exempt/Salaried Shift Work Yes ( Mid Shift) FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with the following knowledge and experience: Duties and Responsibilities * Reports to the Director of Maintenance (DoM) * Responsible for production, workforce, quality management, logistics, and customer support during shift. * Acts on behalf of the CPM, DCPM, and DoM during shift. * Conducts daily communications directly with the customer and company shops. * Enforces strict adherence to technical data, management procedures and company policy. * Knows, understands, enforces, and complies with the requirements of the Performance Work Statement. * Attend maintenance production meetings during shift hours. * Fully understands and is prepared to implement specific disaster control plans pertaining to aircraft/SE movement and personnel evacuation. * Authorizes CANN actions; verifies MICAP conditions exist. * Confirms that all quality checks are being performed by personnel as established by the Quality Plan. * Analyzes production processes to determine where improvements may be made. * Responds to Significant Events. Additional Requirements: Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's Degree is highly desired. High School Diploma required. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Minimum 15 years AF aircraft maintenance experience with at least 5 years supervisory experience. * Minimum 10 years AF fighter aircraft maintenance experience. * Must be able to work flexible shifts as required and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required. * Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner. * Must have an in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, and aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications). * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. * Must be willing and able to obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X and IPI certification. * Must be willing and able to conduct specialty on the job training as required. * Obtain/maintain security clearance. SAR access required. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. * Work site is contained within a restricted area and requires the ability to obtain/maintain a government issued Restricted Area Badge for unescorted access to the work site and to obey all requirements of the restricted area. * Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
