About the Role

Culmen is seeking a Senior Project Manager who oversees a multidisciplinary team providing analysis, program management, and strategic communication support to the DHS Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer (OCRSO).



What You'll Do in Your New Role

    Contract & Team Leadership: Serve as the central point of contact for the DHS CO and COR; lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, research analysts, and communications specialists.

  • Project Governance: Apply rigorous PM principles to manage resources, monitor performance metrics, and ensure all deliverables meet DHS quality and Section 508 standards.

  • Strategic & Data Oversight: Lead the design and delivery of data-driven solutions, including Tableau/Power BI dashboards and GIS analysis, to streamline DHS readiness operations.

  • Incident Management: Oversee the development of critical tools and impact reports for emergency incidents (e.g., natural disasters) affecting DHS assets and workforce.

  • Executive Engagement: Facilitate high-level briefings and meetings for senior DHS leadership to drive stakeholder alignment.



Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing and delivering enterprise-wide projects within the federal government, preferably in a large federal agency.
  • Agency Background: Preferred experience working within a large federal agency, specifically supporting mission-critical readiness or operations.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree


Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with OASIS+ labor categories and reporting.

  • Experience with mission-critical readiness support or emergency management operations.
