Job Title: Commissioning Engineer 2

Role Summary
The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for overseeing and executing on-site commissioning activities for components, systems, and integrated solutions. The role requires strong analytical capability to assess system behavior, ensure effective interaction between subsystems, and deliver solutions that meet technical and customer requirements. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and contributes directly to project milestones and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute commissioning activities for components, systems, and complete solutions at site.
  • Plan, coordinate, and sequence commissioning activities in alignment with project milestones.
  • Analyze system behavior, performance, and interactions between individual components and disciplines.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test results, and technical documentation.
  • Execute system handover to customer personnel, including technical briefings and operational guidance.
  • Perform system optimization activities, including configuration and parameter adjustments, where applicable.
  • Contribute as a test engineer for admittance, routine, and type testing activities as required.
  • Specify, determine, or support the selection of appropriate test equipment.
  • Provide functional leadership to commissioning staff and guide on-site execution.
  • Supervise commissioning tasks and provide technical oversight and direction at site.

Experience

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills applied in real-world engineering environments.
  • Ability to apply and expand technical knowledge across a broader professional and project context.
  • Effective communication skills for customer interaction, documentation, and team coordination.
