Job Summary

Maintain inventory control. Create and adjust min/max levels, Issue inventory, record withdrawals and returns, re-order items when necessary, locate when lost or misplaced, etc., some repairs to tool crib machines Be a self starter and work with a minimum amount of supervision.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Issue dies, tools, fixtures, jigs, cutters, towels, etc. in accordance with requisitions, record withdrawals and returns
  • Visually check returned items for condition, and route same, if required for sharpening
  • Prepare perishable tool requisitions via Iproc when stock is at re-order point or in short supply
  • Replenish Autocrib
  • Ensure proper coding of departmental expenses
  • Ensure proper restrictions are on items in the crib master
  • Review CribMaster reports for trends or anomalies of inventory
  • Communicate with Superintendents and managers about departmental usage irregularities
  • Verify receiving material
  • Receive material thru the Iproc receiving system
  • Assist to follow-up missing, misplaced or misdirected tooling
  • Sharpen small tools
  • Create and maintain min/max levels
  • Obtain bids on crib and plant MRO items
  • Keep work area neat and clean
  • Provide customer service to employees
  • Maintain CribMaster program and mechanics
  • Enter Requisitions
  • Train new employees on Autocrib equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous employment in manufacturing
  • Ability to work in a Team oriented setting
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Advanced excel knowledge
  • Associates degree in Accounting or Business
