About Ameren Illinois Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois. We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities. Job Duties Repair and paint residential and commercial natural gas meters, operate fork truck to move pallets of material, stock, fill and ship orders for field resources. Shift Monday through Friday Hours are: 6:30 am -2:30 pm Minimum qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills are required such as Microsoft applications and ability to learn other computer applications to access wireless gas modules. Ability to lift an average of 15 pounds, able to pull/push hand operated pallet jack. Safety toe boots are required to be worn at all times. Hourly Pay: Grade Step BW 005 Step 1 of 1 (Top Step) - 37.52 USD Position is eligible for annual incentive payments based on company performance and subject to sole management discretion.
