Managerial DSV - Global transport and logistics Location: USA - Henderson, Bermuda Rd. Division:Solutions We are looking for experienced logistics professionals to join our Travel Team as operational experts. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying to various DSV and/or client sites to implement standardized processes, lead local teams, and ensure site performance meets our global standards. This position is for dedicated Logistics Leads and Material Handlers who are highly adaptable, excel in new environments, and take pride in establishing efficient, high-performing warehouse operations. You will be responsible for site launches and operational improvements. You will be a key resource for our clients, traveling to different locations to manage physical operations, train staff, and maintain strict safety and performance compliance. We are looking for hands-on leaders who can remain efficient, and effective in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering consistent results regardless of the location.
Candidates for this role must be flexible and embrace change. As part of the role requirements, Travel Team associates must be available and ready to travel within a 48-hour notice time period. Based on the business needs of the sites, you must be open to work any and all shifts when deployed. Job Posting Title: Travel Team Lead Time Type: Full Time Core Operational Duties Operational Execution:Hands-on management of shipping, receiving, inventory cycle counting, stowing, and returns on domestic and international orders following our Standard Work Instructions while meetingService Level Agreements (SLA). Inventory Control:Maintaining stock by identifying, labeling, and recording locations, as well as researching historical material movement. Reconciliation of locations, resolving discrepancies and performing consolidations. Order Fulfillment:Picking and verifying materials for production orders and prepare for shipment (packing, crating, palletizing, loading, and dispatching). Quality Auditing:Performing quality audits on received materials to ensure accuracy and meetSLAexpectations.
Leadership & Training Responsibilities Team Supervision:Leading, develop, and training local teams to meet or exceedKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)and SLAs. Provide coaching to trainees as needed. Training Certification:Serving as a certified trainer for material-handling equipment (MHE) and standard Inbound/Outbound/IC/RMA processes. Provide scenarios and Q&A sessions to ensure the trainee's understanding. Site Management:Conducting startup meetings to review daily workloads, assignments, and previous performance. Documents infractions, and lead by example, Standards & Safety:Leading safety initiatives and maintaining5S standards(Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) as a subject matter expert. Perform spot checks ensuring associates have and utilize all required PPE. Logistics Coordination and Transporting Load Planning:Ensuring freight commitments are met through creating and planning orders, rescheduling, and transporting shipments,. On-Site Support:Dispatching, monitoring, and tracking loads viaTransportation Management Systems (TMS)while working with other departments and sitesfor resolutions. Submit and resolve tickets. Corporate Travel Support:This role specifically assists internal business travelers with air, car, and hotel reservations. Daily Per Diem is also provided.
Requirements for Travel Team Members Mobility:This role requires extensivedomestic travelacross our national network without constraints. Must be willing to travel often with as little as48 hours' notice. Candidates must be available for regional and nationwide deployment to various client sites as project needs arise.
International travel is not currently within our scope. Certifications:Requires a valid driver's license or REAL ID, MHE certification (Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ). RF scanner usage is a requirement.
Passports are requirement. Technical Skills:Proficiency in various Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) including but not limited to gWMS/JDA, SAP, Agile, Jarvis, GUTs, Buganizer, Google Apps/G-Suite.
Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests. Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Knowledge and Skills: This is an entry level leadership role. Solid interpersonal and analytical skills are required. Generally, prefer a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse and material handling operations. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
