Information Technology Help Desk Intern

• Greet and welcome customers.
• Use polite and professional behavior answering our IT Help Line.
• Utilize our ticketing system to document and create service and support tickets.
• Route tickets to the correct technical area or person for service.
• Perform routine computer maintenance and repair, including but not limited to hardware and software installation, de-installation and troubleshooting. Setup, install, configure, test, move and decommission computers and peripherals according to accepted policies and procedures.
• Setup, install, configure, test, move and decommission devices.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience installing and removing hardware and software.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing minor hardware and software issues.
• Professional and well organized communtication.

Conditions of Employment

• Successfully complete a background Check prior to employment.
• Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 30 lbs, using proper lifting techniques.
• Must be a current TCC student.
