What You'll Do

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support planning, coordination, and delivery of multidiscipline projects in healthcare, infrastructure, industrial, sports & entertainment, and other markets while advancing your project leadership skills.   • Assist with development and maintenance of scope, work plans, schedules, and deliverable milestones.
  • Coordinate tasks across multidiscipline design teams and subconsultants; monitor dependencies and handoffs.
  • Prepare and run efficient project kickoffs; capture roles, assumptions, decisions, and action items.
  • Track budgets, earned value, and fee burn; monitor invoices, change orders, and additional services.
  • Maintain RFI, submittal, and decision logs; follow through to closure with clear ownership.
  • Support QA/QC plans and timely reviews; ensure submittals and deliverables meet standards and contracts.
  • Update resource plans and manhour projections in project systems; surface variances early.
  • Coordinate proposal amendments, add services, and contract exhibits with guidance from the PM.
  • Facilitate client and design partner meetings; distribute agendas, notes, and next steps promptly.
  • Manage document control and versioning so teams work from the correct information.
  • Monitor project risks and issues; propose mitigation options and escalate when thresholds are met.
  • Support procurement and permitting schedules, closeout checklists, lessons learned, and archive.



Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:



  • Technical or bachelor's degree
  • 3-7 years of experience along a Project Manager career track


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience coordinating design and construction teams within an AEC environment.
  • Working knowledge of project financials (budgets, earned value, invoices, change orders).
  • Familiarity with scheduling and resource planning tools and basic risk management concepts.
  • Clientfacing communication skills with clear followthrough and meeting facilitation.
  • Ability to analyze tradeoffs, recommend options, and support decisions with data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with project platforms.
  • Growth mindset with desire to deepen technical understanding and project leadership responsibilities.
