Position Overview

The Executive Health Concierge Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all international and executive health inquiries, visits, and services-both inpatient and outpatient. Acting as a trusted liaison and patient advocate, this role ensures a smooth, personalized experience by collaborating closely with patients and families, physicians, administrative leaders, and internal departments across Henry Ford Health.

This position blends administrative excellence, high-level customer service, and liaison responsibilities to support an elite patient population with professionalism, discretion, and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary coordinator and point of contact for international and executive health patients from initial request through completion of care

  • Coordinate all aspects of the patient experience, including scheduling, procedures, medical records, pricing, and concierge services

  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, clinical teams, non-clinical teams, and third-party partners

  • Advocate for patients and families while maintaining clear, constructive communication across all stakeholders

  • Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care for all coordinated services

  • Partner with department leadership to support goal development, workflow optimization, and process improvement initiatives

  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence while managing multiple priorities and urgent requests

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Monday-Friday, day shift

  • Open and responsive to urgent matters as needed

  • Business attire required to support a professional, executive-level environment


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting

  • Proven experience improving patient-centered processes, operational efficiency, or service delivery

  • Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Familiarity with appointment scheduling and payment collection

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills

  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and culturally appropriate etiquette

  • Strong verbal communication skills, both in person and via telephone

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

  • Proficiency with common computer applications and healthcare IT systems
