Dematic has an immediate need for a Vice President of Services for Lifecycle Solutions & Services (LSS). This position reports directly to the SVP of Lifecycle Solutions & Services and is responsible for the overall operational strategy, performance, and execution across all LSS service offerings. The VP of Services will lead a diverse organization across five key business segments: Resident Maintenance, Technical Support, Engineering & Field Services, Technical Training & Operational Readiness Consulting, and Digital Services.
The Vice President of Services will drive operational excellence, ensure consistent delivery quality, and optimize resource utilization across all service segments. This leader will guide the transformation and scalability of LSS operations, partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction, advance field capabilities, and strengthen the performance and growth of Dematic's service portfolio.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $200,000-$300,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What you Will do in This Role:
- Develop strategy, operational plans and capabilities to deliver on site Maintenance and Engineering Services at customer sites with complex automation systems including Dematic and third-party software, controls and mechatronics. Develop strategies to leverage technologies and predictive analytics to improve customer operations and drive margin opportunities.
- Develop strategy, operational plans and capabilities to deliver 24X7 / 365 days per week Technical Support and Engineering Services for all live customer sites with complex automation systems including Dematic and third-party software, controls and mechatronics.
- Develop strategy, operational plans and capabilities to deliver Training and Operational Consulting for new and existing customer systems. Build operational consultative and engineering capability to expand consulting services to enable customer readiness for complex automation systems including start up services.
- Develop strategy, operational plans and capabilities to build Engineering and Field Services business. Transform from current Field Services to Engineering and Field Services expanding ongoing programs of work for Software and Controls.
- Develop strategy, operational plans and capabilities to build Digital Services including Managed Services, and Control Tower implementations. This is a high growth target area with a transformation into software licensing and software as a service.
- Develop budgets and financial strategies to grow each of the five business segments and manage the respective P&L's to ensure revenue and margin targets are delivered for each business segment.
- Act as Executive escalation point for all customers' live sites maintaining relationships and satisfaction levels, improving Customers' overall operations
- Develop an exceptional leadership team and organization culture for the LSS Operations group that mentors, develops and guides the organization to achieve Customer Success and Financial performance
- Partner with commercial team to Develop and drive new offerings to increase revenue.
- Partner with Global Product Management, Regional SD & R&D and Quality to ensure strong feedback loop on Dematic Products and Solutions to ensure future products and solutions account for learnings from live customer sites.
- Act as the Dematic trusted advisor, both internally and externally, to ensure targets and profitability goals are met.
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree. Masters/MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of logistics and automation experience, with 7+ years of direct applicable experience at an executive level including software and engineering
- Proven experience delivering large scale, enterprise, mission critical solutions
- Knowledge of strategic support and generating profitable business while growing lasting relationships with complex customer base.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders including internal stakeholders, customers and vendors and be seen as a trusted advisor.
- Ability to effectively create a collaborative, team oriented environment including mentoring and motivating team members to be accountable for results.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and create strategies that significantly improve practices that enable the organization to achieve business and technical results.
