Role Name: Food Services Specialist I Location: Columbia, SC 29219 Work Environment: Onsite Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm Contract length: 3 months assignment with possible extensions Work environment: This is for cafeteria work, specifically a hot line server. Job Summary: Duties/About the role: Depending on department needs, this job includes the following: cashier, prep cook, food server, dishwasher/pot washer, catering delivery, restocking as needed, and any other need as asked by management. Day to Day: 50% Prepares food. Performs variety of routine tasks in food production and services areas. Uses approved procedures in food preparation and production areas, operates food production and serving equipment. Keeps waste and production errors at a minimum. Assists with training as assigned. 30% Restocks food supplies. Rotates and labels food items and containers. 10% Performs cleaning tasks and sanitation of equipment. Exercises preventative measures to reduce or minimize slip or fall type accidents. 10% Reports equipment malfunctions to management. Job Requirements: Required Experience: None. Required EDU: None.
