Our leading wealth management client is seeking an outstanding Senior Investments & Analytics Writer to empower investors through high-impact content. Partnered with Aquent, this role offers the chance to work within a prestigious asset management firm's investment content team. You will be a pivotal voice in crafting narratives that shape financial decisions, translating complex equity fundamentals and portfolio data into clear, persuasive communications for a sophisticated audience. Schedule & Location: Location: This role is based in downtown Los Angeles. Mon-Thu: Onsite with the team. What You'll Do: As a key player on the Equities-focused marketing team, you will develop a wide range of content covering equities, fixed income, and multi-asset solutions. You will be a self-starter who works independently on recurring assignments while collaborating with senior team members on complex analyses. You will bridge the gap between technical data and investor insight by updating existing materials and creating original, research-driven content. Core Responsibilities Data Synthesis & Manipulation: Take raw data and manipulate it in Excel and other formats to create compelling "proof points" and charts that support investment narratives. Narrative Development: Distill and synthesize complex ideas into clear, coherent, and engaging narratives for a sophisticated audience. Multi-Channel Content: Develop original content for digital properties, white papers, conference presentations, pitch books, social media, and email campaigns. Collaborative Reporting: Conduct interviews with senior business leaders and investment professionals to extract unique market perspectives. Project Leadership: Manage high-priority writing projects from research to final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand standards, style guides, and legal/compliance guidelines. Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, equity fundamentals, and regulatory shifts to ensure all content is timely and accurate. What You'll Bring: The "Must-Haves" Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated financial writing experience. Technical Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of equity markets, portfolio construction, and asset management. You must demonstrate a firm grasp of equity fundamentals. Quantitative Skill: High comfort level with quantitative concepts. You must be able to source and manipulate raw data in Excel to build your own supporting evidence. Writing Excellence: A proven ability to translate technical subject matter into engaging prose. Portfolio: Must submit writing samples that demonstrate your ability to handle technical financial subject matter. The "Nice-to-Haves": MBA or CFA designation (or active CFA candidate) is strongly preferred. Experience writing for institutional or high-net-worth audiences. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.00 to $75.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
