This is a hands-on opportunity for a UX Designer who thrives in complex, systems-driven environments and enjoys translating ambiguity into clear, intuitive user experiences. You'll be designing practical, high-impact web applications that support critical operational workflows - helping teams work smarter, faster, and more effectively.

This role is fully onsite (5 days/week) in Austin, TX and is a contract engagement with strong potential for extension.

**What You'll Do:**

* Rapidly create detailed process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to conceptualize and communicate intricate interaction behaviors.

* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements, leveraging empirical data, usability findings, market research, and established user-centered design principles.

* Evaluate and enhance the performance of new and existing features through active participation in usability testing and analysis of analytics data.

* Present design concepts and solutions to design teams, product stakeholders, and leadership, fostering constructive feedback and alignment.

* Contribute to the evolution of user interface design and development best practices and standards, elevating the overall design maturity of the organization.

* Provide thought leadership and innovation in the realm of web application design and user interface solutions.

**What You'll Bring:**

* 3-6 years of industry experience delivering impactful interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.

* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

* Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, coupled with strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.

* Proficiency in a variety of industry-standard design tools.

* A compelling online portfolio showcasing your past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.

**Bonus Points:**

* Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences and varying levels of the organization.

* A self-starting, customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player mindset.

* Demonstrated ability to thrive within highly technical teams, managing multiple projects concurrently in an agile, fast-paced environment.
