We're seeking a Freelance Experiential Activation Creative Project Manager / Producer to support a variety of creative and experiential projects on a project-by-project basis. This role serves as the central connection point between account, strategy, and creative teams, ensuring projects are scoped properly, executed efficiently, and delivered flawlessly - on time and on budget. This is a remote 25 hours per week to start, with potential to ramp up to 32-35 hours per week. Candidate must be located in PST.

The ideal candidate has extensive marketing or PR agency experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings deep knowledge of the creative production process - from concept development through final delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project workplans, schedules, budgets, and communication plans for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead production of deliverables for activations, including:


    • Large-format print and OOH assets

    • Printed collateral and signage
    • Event photo and video capture (and post-production coordination)
    • Banners, digital assets, and social content


  • Prepare clear and detailed project briefs for creative teams, answering all relevant internal and external questions.
  • Monitor and track project progress; produce and distribute status reports and proactively recommend solutions to keep deliverables on track.
  • Manage communication and approvals between account and creative teams to ensure seamless project handoffs.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve project challenges; escalate issues appropriately when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal team members, clients, and external vendors.
  • Partner with other producers to develop consistent workflow practices and ensure effective creative team support.
  • Quality-assure all creative deliverables to ensure they are error-free and meet brand standards.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experiential activation, event production, or creative project management experience - preferably within a marketing or PR agency environment.
  • Proven experience leading production of activation deliverables, including print, OOH, event, and social assets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly present timelines, deliverables, and next steps.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of creative production workflows, brand systems, and file delivery standards.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors (print, media, photography, and video).
  • Familiarity with microsite development, influencer programs, and asset management systems is a plus.
