As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols and engaging with employees and visitors to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Assist with access control measures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols to help to maintain order within the location.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
