As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Dover, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a financial institution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at financial institution locations, including access control responsibilities.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches within the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or irregularities to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors while enforcing access control protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
