Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and attentiveness help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies or disturbances that may occur within the facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client location.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with staff, patients, visitors, and emergency responders at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
