In the role of Environmental EIT/Designer, we'll count on you to:
- Assist Senior Engineers in environmental remediation projects that include remediation design and implementation
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects that have clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Perform administrative duties associated with project management for environmental remediation projects
- Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
- Assist senior engineers in environmental remediation projects involving feasibility studies, pre-design investigations, remedial design, remedial action and post construction activities.
- Interpret data and summarize it in tables, charts, and/or maps.
- Complete duties requiring field work and travel as needed
- A valid driver's license is required for this role
- Perform other duties as needed
- Preferred Qualifications
40-hour HAZWOPER training is strongly preferred Master's degree in environmental engineering or closely related Engineering field EIT or the ability to obtain. Candidates hired without their EIT with be titled "Environmental Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT license for career progression 10-hour OSHA training is preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS experience Professional experience with engineering internships is preferred Local candidates preferred Strong commitment to safety. Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding sampling task in adverse environmental conditions (rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
