Job Purpose

In this role, you will oversee the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of the Project Expeditor (PEX) Program, ensuring achievement of energysavings targets within established budgets. The PEX Program is a thirdparty vendor network that provides comprehensive, incentivized turnkey energyefficiency and electrification solutions to municipal, commercial, and industrial customers. This role directly influences customer satisfaction, energysavings performance, and vendor network effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities

Your primary responsibility will be to successfully manage the delivery and performance of the Project Expeditor Program. Specific responsibilities include:

  • PEX Engagement and Meetings: Facilitate inperson and virtual PEX meetings; develop focused agendas covering program updates, new measures, vendor introductions, and training needs; coordinate guest speakers; deliver ongoing progress updates and key reminders; and provide dedicated training sessions aimed at upskilling existing PEX vendors.
  • Communications and Announcements: Provide timely updates to PEX vendors on program changes and urgent announcements; partner with Marketing to produce regular newsletters; maintain the PEX website and lookup tools; and ensure clear, consistent communication across the vendor network.
  • Goal Setting and Alignment: Translate strategic energy efficiency and electrification objectives into actionable programlevel and vendorspecific goals across both electric and gas initiatives.
  • 1:1 Meetings and Coaching: Conduct regular 1:1 sessions with PEX vendors to review performance, goals, challenges, and development areas. Offer tailored coaching, resources, and training support to help upskill existing vendors and drive continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop monthly performance reports using InDemand projecttracking data; monitor annual progress; and deliver clear, datadriven insights to inform leadership decisions and program adjustments.
  • Application and Program Management: Manage annual program updates; oversee new vendor application intake and coordinate crossfunctional reviews; conduct reference checks and gather internal feedback to support approval decisions. Onboard approved vendors and integrate them into projecttracking systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure PEX vendors meet all requirements outlined in the PEX agreement. Proactively identify vendors not in good standing and manage their removal from the program
  • Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from customers, PEX vendors, and internal stakeholders; analyze results to identify improvement opportunities; and develop, implement, and track action plans including targeted training initiatives to strengthen vendor capabilities and enhance program performance.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Relationship Management: Manage daytoday relationships with PEX vendors, Sales teams, and external service providers, ensuring alignment on documentation requirements and quality expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience (energyefficiency program management strongly preferred).
  • Strong vendor and projectmanagement skills, including effective negotiation and relationshipbuilding capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with proven success engaging customers, sales leadership, sales teams, and trade partners.
  • Handson experience with CRM platforms and familiarity with a range of sales tools and supporting applications.
  • Understanding of the energy industry, particularly energy use and optimization in commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Broad knowledge of energy policy, regulation, stakeholder engagement, customer experience, and energyefficiency best practices.
  • Familiarity with HVAC technologies and/or experience working with HVAC contractors, distributors, or manufacturers is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed; mileage reimbursement or participation in the Motus program is available.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Salary

  • $132,000 - $155,000 a year
