This position is 100% remote. We will only consider candidates who currently live within the United States. Out-of-country candidates will not be considered.

In this dynamic role, you will serve as a crucial link between diverse teams, spearheading the discovery and definition of requirements for high-impact healthcare programs. You will be instrumental in evaluating existing systems, envisioning future capabilities, and guiding the development process from concept to delivery. Your expertise will directly contribute to streamlining operations, improving compliance, and ultimately, enhancing the quality of care provided.

**What You'll Do:**

* Act as the primary liaison, fostering seamless communication and collaboration among business stakeholders, architects, subject matter experts, engineering teams, quality assurance, and cross-functional departments.

* Lead comprehensive requirements discovery efforts, utilizing stakeholder interviews, workflow mapping, gap analysis, and meticulous system behavior documentation.

* Translate intricate healthcare operations and program rules into clear, actionable user stories, business use cases, acceptance criteria, workflows, and detailed system requirements.

* Take ownership of the product backlog, meticulously prioritizing and refining stories to ensure they are development-ready and perfectly aligned with overarching business objectives.

* Drive key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming, while proactively coordinating across teams to remove impediments and ensure timely project delivery.

* Evaluate current-state systems, meticulously documenting dependencies and collaborating with product managers, architects, and engineering leads to define future-state capabilities.

* Communicate effectively with senior leadership, presenting requirements, project updates, potential risks, and strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence.

* Collaborate proactively with compliance, operations, clinical, and analytics teams to ensure stringent regulatory alignment with major public health program rules.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Systems Analyst, specifically within the healthcare sector, with a strong focus on major public health programs, claims, or eligibility systems.

* Demonstrated hands-on experience in documenting the behavior of legacy systems and defining comprehensive product requirements.

* A proven self-starter with exceptional facilitation, leadership, and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving independently within a collaborative, cross-departmental environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $46.55 to $51.72 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
